Who are the Ancient Ones?

The history of Sasquatch predates that of humans, yet they have evolved alongside human history. They have remained hidden, somehow… Further, they have maintained their preferred biomes, isolated and sacred, at a comfortable distance from human ‘civilization’. Other questions remain unanswered: What would the Ancient Ones communicate, and how would they explain their place on Earth?
